Magic Candles x Science 

Today at DS SSRU Summer, our little scientists explored the world of "Magic Gel Candles"! 

 Through this hands-on activity, students observed and learned about the physical changes of matter when exposed to heat and cooling.

Making gel candles helps our children discover:

 States of Matter: Watching solids turn to liquid and back again.

 Heat & Energy: Understanding how temperature affects materials.

 Combustion: Learning the basics of how candles burn.

 Density: Seeing how different elements interact within the gel.
