As the rainy season arrives, with cooler temperatures and high humidity, it becomes a time when viruses and bacteria can spread rapidly, which is a major cause of various infectious diseases. Being aware of the illnesses that come with the rainy season in children, including their causes and prevention methods, will help parents observe symptoms and find ways to protect their children in a timely manner. The six diseases that are commonly seen during the rainy season include:

1) Respiratory infections caused by the RSV virus

2) Hand, foot, and mouth disease

3) Dengue fever

4) Influenza

5) Diarrhea or rotavirus gastroenteritis

6) Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD)

Our school therefore takes care of the children to keep them safe from diseases that accompany the rainy season by regularly monitoring hygiene and cleaning classrooms to ensure our students are as safe as possible every day.
