Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Demonstration School
is serving Thai food from the Ayutthaya period in the History course. Today's menu is "Moo Sor Rong."
Moo Sor Rong is a Thai dish influenced by the trading ships of the Portuguese and Chinese. It is considered a popular snack that has been enjoyed since the Ayutthaya period, but nowadays, few people are familiar with it. The dish consists of finely minced pork mixed with seasonings, shaped into round balls, and then wrapped in rice vermicelli before being deep-fried until crispy, making it ready to eat.
The children practiced their concentration by wrapping the noodles around the pork, developing their hand muscles, and enjoyed tasting the flavors of their own creations.
For Thai children to understand their Thai identity, it must start with hands-on practice and teaching them about the flavors of Thai culture.
Taught by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pawabut, a lecturer from the Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
